Casa Roca - Ayunaton 5

The church was having an event call Ayunaton which is a merge between Fasting and Marathon. It is a Marathon because is 24 hours fasting, meaning no food only drinks and being awake for more than 24 hours, praying and worshiping God.

Based on the client requirements they wanted graphics full of color which would make the audience feel alive and young again, they suggested using Romero Britto's artwork, but as you know it is not ethical to use somebody else's work without proper authorization.  

The idea was to represent the live of a butterfly, starting with the caterpillar of course. And so we decided to include the butterfly to be part of the logo.  Here are the first and I would say the best logo options we offered:

Of course these were only to represent the shapes and idea, at this point color was not included until the client would approve  and pick the best one. Unfortunately none of these were what our client was looking for.  They picked what I like calling "The Amateur Design"...

And so we designed everything based on this logo.

And also they needed Wall decals for the stage, we provided the vectors but this was a low budget project, therefore the wall decals were made out of poster of 13"x11" and glued together as of a puzzle. This was a very challenging Job, in view of the fact I just started using Illustrator. 

The measurement of the walls was given incorrectly to us but here is the walls finish:
